Working for America
The workers of America are the heart of the nation's economy. Hardworking men and women are the spokes of the wheel, which turn raw materials into products, ideas into services, and businesses into industries. Since he took office, President Bush has toured a variety of American businesses from factories to plants and small business to large corporations. The President recently talked about the economy with workers in Illinois, Missouri, and Louisiana. These businesses and their interdependence illustrate the importance of American trade and exports to the nation's economy.
