President George W. Bush hugs Freedom Corps greeter Sonya McDonald upon his arrival Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, in San Antonio, Texas. In January 2006, while her husband was deployed to Iraq, Mrs. McDonald spearheaded a fundraising effort to benefit Fisher House. Her goal was to raise $200,000 between Memorial Day and Independence Day 2006.
