Mrs. Bush's Remarks at Pepperdine University Commencement Ceremony

Mrs. Bush, who received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree during the event, told the graduates, "The Pepperdine Class of 2007 -- and all of us in the United States -- have freely received the blessings of our nation: good health and prosperity; opportunity and freedom. Our country is also blessed with compassionate citizens who freely give to other nations in need. Many of these compassionate citizens are right here at Pepperdine."
