Before his appointment as Assistant Secretary, Mr. Henke served as Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller). He previously served as a Professional Staff Member with the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Defense. Mr. Henke served as a Navy Officer in Operation Dessert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and his master's degree from Syracuse University. |
