Prior to becoming Chief of Staff, Mr. Whitaker was nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate as Assistant Secretary for Legislation, Department of Health and Human Services. Previous to joining HHS, he served on the staff of Senate Assistant Majority Leader Don Nickles (R-OK). Mr. Whitaker holds a Master’s degree in Government from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Palm Beach Atlantic College. |
