Most recently, Lincoln Bloomfield was a partner at Armitage Associates in Arlington, Virginia. He served in a variety of positions within the federal government, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs from 1992 to 1993 and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs from 1988 to 1989.
