Prior to his current appointment, Albert Jacquez was Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Esteban E. Torres of California. Previously, he served two years as staff director of the House Banking Subcommittee on Consumer Affairs and Coinage. From 1988 to 1990, he was president and CEO of the Latin American Management Association, a Hispanic business trade group. He served as Rep. Torres's senior legislative director from 1983 to 1988. Albert is a graduate of Whittier College and he earned a Master's degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. |
