The President has named Jean Staton Mamo to be Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Media Affairs. Prior to this, she served as Special Assistant to the President and Director of Media Affairs. Earlier in her career, Mamo served as Deputy Press Secretary to U.S. Senator Phil Gramm and as Director of Communications for United States Representative Sam Johnson. Ms. Mamo received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
