Peter Allgeier -- Office of the United States Trade Representative
Deputy Trade Representative
Most recently, Peter Allgeier was the Senior Director for International Economic Affairs at the National Economic Council. Before joining the NEC, he had served in the office of the United States Trade Representatives since 1981. While there, he served as the Associate United States Trade Representatives for the Western Hemisphere and Assistant United States Trade Representative for Europe and the Mediterranean. He is a graduate of Brown University, received his Master's degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina.
