Assistant Secretary of Labor for Policy

Prior to coming to the Department of Labor, Chris Spear was the Legislative Director for U.S. Senator Tim Hutchinson. Previously, Chris was the Staff Director of the Senate Subcommittee on Employment, Safety and Training. He also served as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Enzi on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. He began his career in the U.S. Senate working for Senator Alan Simpson. Chris received both an Undergraduate Degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Wyoming.
