Chief of Staff of the General Services Administration

Most recently, David Safavian served as Senior Advisor and Acting Deputy Chief of Staff at GSA. Prior to joining GSA, he served as the Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Chris Cannon (R-UT). David also worked for Congressmen Bill Scuette (R-MI) and Bob Davis (R-MI). In addition to his public sector experience, he co-founded Janus-Merritt Strategies, L.L.C., a Washington, D.C., consulting firm specializing in telecommunications issues. David is a graduate of Saint Louis University and received a Law degree from Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law and a Master's degree in Tax Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
