Senior Deputy Chairman (Chief of Staff) National Endowment for the Arts

Prior to coming to the NEA, Eileen Mason served as a manager and administrator at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Previously, she was a book editor at Acropolis Books in Washington, DC and at Little, Brown in Boston. She also taught math, reading, and health to eighth and ninth graders at Hephzibah High School in Hephzibah, Georgia. Eileen is a graduate of Cornell University, and she received a Masters in Public Administration from American University’s Key Executive Program.
