Assistant Secretary of Labor for Employment Standards Administration

From 2000 to 2002, Victoria Lipnic was a workforce policy counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and the Workforce. From 1994 to 2000, she was in-house counsel to the U.S. Postal Service. She was previously an attorney in private practice. From 1984 to 1989, Victoria was at the U.S. Department of Commerce, first as Special Assistant to the Director of Business Liaison and then as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Trade Development. She is a graduate of Allegheny College and George Mason University Law School.
