Emily DeRocco -- Department of Labor
Assistant Secretary of Labor for Employment Training Administration

Prior to her current appointment, Emily DeRocco concurrently served as the Executive Director of the National Association of State Workforce Agencies and CEO of the Center for Employment Security, Education and Research. From 1981 to 1983 and then again from 1985 to 1989, Emily served as Assistant to the Secretary of the Interior and Director of External Affairs. From 1983 to 1985, she held the same position at the U.S. Department of Energy. Emily is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and received her law degree from Georgetown Law School.
