Most recently, Patrick Cronin was the Director of Research and Studies at the U.S. Institute of Peace. Previously, he served at the National Defense University's Institute for National Strategic Studies as Deputy Director and Director of Research. He also served on the editorial advisor board of the professional academic journals, "International Studies Perspectives" and the "Journal of Korean Studies." In addition, Patrick was an adjunct professor at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, and he taught at the University of Virginia. He holds a M.Phil. and D.Phil. degrees in international relations from the University of Oxford, England.
