Assistant to the President
and Director of the USA Freedom Corps

Most recently, John Bridgeland served as the Director of the Domestic Policy Council at the White House. In addition, he co-directed the policy transition for the Bush-Cheney Presidential Transition team and was Deputy Policy Director for the Bush-Cheney 2000 Presidential campaign. Previously, John served as Chief of Staff to Congressman Rob Portman and practiced law in the New York and Paris offices of Davis Polk & Wardwell. He also founded Civic Solutions, a company that worked with non-profits,foundations,faith-based institutions and corporations on public policy issues. John graduated from Harvard University and received a J.D from University of Virginia.
