Dan Bartlett -- White House
Assistant to the President for Communications

Before joining the Bush Administration, Dan Bartlett served as a senior spokesman and Director of Rapid Response for the Bush-Cheney 2000 presidential campaign. Dan has served President Bush since 1993, working on both successful campaigns for Governor of Texas. From 1994 to 1998, Dan worked in the Governor's Office as Deputy to the Policy Director where he helped develop and implement Governor Bush's agenda. During the 1998 reelection campaign, Dan served as Issues Director. Previously, he worked for Karl Rove and Associates. Dan also worked as a staff assistant in the Texas Senate in 1991. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
