Judith Ayres -- Environmental Protection Agency
Assistant Administrator of Environmental Protection for International Activities

Prior to assuming her current position, Judith Ayres was Principal of the Environmental Group, a nonprofit environmental research organization. Before that, she was with William D. Ruckelshaus Associates, an international environmental consulting firm. From 1983 to 1988, she served as Regional Administrator for the EPA for Region 9, which includes Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and the American protectorates in the Pacific. Judith is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received a Master's degree in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government.
