Appointee Directory View:   Mark Keenum -- Department of Agriculture Under Secretary for Farm & Foreign Agriculture Mark Everett Keenum serves as Under Secretary of Agriculture for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Commodity Credit Corporation. Dr. Keenum served as Chief of Staff to United States Senator Thad Cochran. Prior to this, he served as Assistant Professor and Economist of the Department of Agricultural Economics at Mississippi State University. Earlier in his career, he served as a Research Associate with the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. Dr. Keenum received his bachelor's degree, master's degree, and PhD from Mississippi State University.
