Administrator of the Federal Transit Administration

James S. Simpson serves as Federal Transit Administrator at the Department of Transportation. Previously, Mr. Simpson served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Victory Worldwide Transportation. Prior to this, he was the company's Vice President. Earlier in his career, Mr. Simpson served as a Commissioner of the New York State Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Mr. Simpson received his bachelor's degree from St. John's University.
