McQueary serves as the Director of Operational Test and Evaluation at the Department of Defense. Previously, Dr. McQueary was the former Senior Advisor to the Secretary for Science and Technology at the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to this, he served as the Under Secretary for Science and Technology. Earlier in his career, he served as President of Advanced Technology Systems Lucent Technologies/General Dynamics. Dr. McQueary received his bachelor's degree, master's degree, and PhD from the University of Texas, Austin.
