Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict

Thomas W. O'Connell served 27 years in the Army in a variety of Special Operations and Intelligence assignments, including duty with the Central Intelligence Agency and British Armed Forces, and participated in four armed conflicts. His seven year industry career included assignment as a Senior Manager for Raytheon Company's Intelligence and Information Systems, Arlington, Virginia. Mr. O'Connell is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and has Masters Degrees from Central Michigan University and the US Navy War College.
