From 1993 to 2000, Brian Waidmann served as administrative assistant to U.S. Senator Dirk Kempthorne and later, then-U.S. Senator John Ashcroft. In the first Bush Administration, Brian served as special assistant to the President for legislative affairs. Previously, he worked as legislative assistant to Rep. Bill Armstrong. Following Mr. Armstrong's election to the U.S. Senate in 1979, he continued to represent Senator Armstrong as legislative assistant on the Senate banking, housing and budget committees. He later became Senator Armstrong's legislative director. Brian is a graduate of the University of Colorado.
