She was Chief Economist and partner at Groom and Nordberg, a Washington, D.C. law firm, from 1989 to 1995, and she was Executive Director of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation from 1985 to 1989. Kathleen was a Senior Economist at the Council of Economic Advisors from 1983 to 1985 and an Economist at the Center for Naval Analysis from 1974 to 1983.
