Appointee Directory View:   Jeff Runge -- Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administrator Prior to his current appointment, Jeff Runge was Facility Physician and Assistant Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Carolinas Medical Center. In 1996, Jeff spent a year as a fellow at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and received the Highway Safety Leadership Award.
