Appointee Directory View:   Benigno Reyna -- Department of Justice Director of the U.S. Marshals Service From 1976 until his current appointment, Benigno Reyna served with the Police Department of the City of Brownsville, Texas. He was named Chief of Police in 1995. Benigno was also named a Commissioner on the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education in 1997 and became the Presiding Officer in 2000.
