Prior to his appointment, Dan Renberg was president of Renberg Strategies, LLC, a Washington, D.C. consulting firm. Previously, he served as legislative director and deputy chief of staff for U.S. Senator Arlen Specter from 1995 to 1999. From 1994 to 1995, he served the Senator as legislative assistant for energy, environment and transportation. Previously, Dan was an attorney for the Washington, D.C. law firm of Wiley, Rein & Fielding. Dan received his law degree and an M.A. in American Government from the University of Virginia. He is a graduate of Princeton University.
