Previously, Juan Carlos Benitez was Of Counsel at Long, Aldridge and Norman in Washington, D.C. From 1995 to 1999, he served with the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration as Legislative Director, Associate General Counsel and Legal Counsel. From 1993 to 1995, he was a Labor Associate with the law firm of Fiddler, Gonzalez and Rodriguez. He is a graduate of Sacred Heart University and received his law degree from the School of Law at the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico.
