Larry Lindsey -- The White House
Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Director, National Economic Council

From 1997 to 2001, Larry Lindsey was a Resident Scholar and holder of the Arthur F. Burns Chair in Economics at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC. He was also Managing Director of Economic Strategies, an economic advisory service based in New York City. From 1991 to 1997, Larry served as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He served in various capacities in the Reagan and Bush White Houses, his last position being Special Assistant to the President for Policy Development. In addition, Larry is a former professor of economics at Harvard University. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and received a Master's and Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University.
