Assistant Secretary for Policy & Planning in the Department of Veterans Affairs

Mick Kicklighter joined the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2000 as Deputy Under Secretary for Memorial Activities and as Director of Special Events. He is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served as Commander of U.S. Army Pacific from 1989 to 1991. He was also named Director of the 50th Anniversary commemoration of World War II. He served as Deputy Under Secretary of the Army for International Affairs from 1995 to 1999. Mick is a graduate of Mercer University and received a Master's degree in Management Resources from George Washington University.
