Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Counsel to the President

Prior to his appointment, Tim Flanigan was a partner with the international law firm of White & Case LLP. During the administration of the previous President Bush, Tim served as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice. From 1985 to 1986, he served as senior law clerk to the late Chief Justice Warren E. Burger. Tim holds an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
