Tricia Hollis -- Office of Personnel Management
Chief Of Staff and Director Of External Affairs

Tricia Hollis, the Chief of Staff for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), serves in a confidential advisory role to Director Linda M. Springer as well as the Deputy Director Dan G. Blair. She also serves as Director of External Affairs, supervising the Offices of Communications and Public Liaison, Congressional Relations, the Executive Secretariat, and White House Liaison. Previously Hollis served as Chief of Staff to the Acting Director, closely working with all OPM staff to assist Acting Director Blair in all aspects of the management of the agency. Tricia joined OPM in early 2004 as Special Assistant to the Deputy Director. Tricia graduated cum laude from Mississippi University for Women, and served as a feature writer for the Jackson Daily News. For a number of years she played a major role in the Mississippi Library Commission, developing and implementing agency communications plans, coordinating media relations and supervising agency publications among many other duties. U.S. Senator John C. Stennis brought Tricia to Washington, where she served as his Assistant Press Secretary. She served as Public Affairs Manager for the American Soybean Association and Director of Government Affairs with the American Dietetic Association. Tricia also worked on the Bush/Quayle ’92 Presidential Campaign staff. Prior to joining OPM, she was the Assistant Director for Congressional Programs at the Stennis Center for Public Service. Tricia is a native of Memphis, Tennessee.
