Linda Combs founded Combs Music International in 1991 and served as its President until 2001. From 1989 to 1991, she was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Management, and from 1987 to 1989 she was Associate Administrator for Management of the Veterans Administration. Linda served at the U.S. Department of Education from 1982 to 1986, first as Executive Secretary and then as Deputy Under Secretary for Management. She is a former elected member of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education. Linda received both an undergraduate and Master's degree from Appalachian State University as well as a Doctorate degree in Education Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
