Under Secretary for Memorial Affairs

William F. Tuerk serves as Under Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Memorial Affairs. Mr. Tuerk previously served as Chief Counsel for the Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs. Prior to this he served as Staff Director of the Committee on Veterans Affairs during the Chairmanship of Senator Arlen Specter. Earlier in his career, Mr. Tuerk served as a Senior Attorney at the Department of Veterans Affairs. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame. He later received his JD from The George Washington University.
