Inspector General

Calvin L. Scovel serves as Inspector General at the Department of Transportation. Colonel Scovel served as Senior Judge, United States Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals. Prior to this, he served as Chief Defense Counsel of the Marine Corps. Colonel Scovel received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina and JD from Duke University. He also received a master's degree from the Naval War College.
