The Performance-Based Acquisition (PBA) Lunch Time Learning Seminars are offered to all government agencies to provide information about PBA and the Seven Steps to Performance-Based Services Acquisition (PBSA) Process.
Target Audience: The acquisition workforce including government senior managers, program/project managers, requirements personnel, quality assurance specialists, Contracting Officer’s Representatives, Contracting Officer’s Technical Representatives, subject matter experts and contracting officials involved in planning, evaluating, awarding, and managing a PBA. Session training provided by: Members of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) PBA Interagency Working Group such as Ronne Rogin and/or Gregory Garrett from Acquisition Solutions, Inc., the industry partners that worked with the government to establish and maintain the guide, and Julia Wise from OFPP.
Time: 1 to 2 hour session between the hours of 11:00 and 3:00. Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a session. One session will be conducted a month and are scheduled on a first-come, first serve basis. Agencies in the same area are encouraged to combine their resources and host a session at a central location in their area. Note: Intensive team-based PBA training can be obtained from sources located on the Seven Steps to PBSA website available at http://acquisition.gov/SevenSteps.
Location: Your agency, if at least 25 people are planned for the session. The sessions can only be held in the Baltimore/Washington/Virginia metropolitan area and you are required to coordinate the sessions for your agency.
