Jim
Daumit joined the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) in
July 2005 following an eight-month detail to
the Office while employed with the General Services Administration
(GSA).
Mr. Daumit's primary areas of focus include the
competitive sourcing initiative under the President's Management Agenda
(PMA), policy and oversight of the Federal Activities Inventory
Reform (FAIR) Act process, and "green" procurement policy.
Mr.
Daumit joined the federal government in June, 2001 as a Financial Management
Intern in GSA's Financial Management Specialist program. Following
graduation from the program in 2003, Mr. Daumit was selected for a position
in GSA's newly formed Office of Performance Improvement, which is responsible
for implementing the PMA at GSA.
