ALEXANDER "Jim" DAUMIT

Policy Analyst
Office of Federal Procurement Policy

Jim Daumit joined the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) in July 2005 following an eight-month detail to the Office while employed with the General Services Administration (GSA).

Mr. Daumit's primary areas of focus include the competitive sourcing initiative under the President's Management Agenda (PMA), policy and oversight of the Federal Activities Inventory Reform (FAIR) Act process, and "green" procurement policy.

Mr. Daumit joined the federal government in June, 2001 as a Financial Management Intern in GSA's Financial Management Specialist program.  Following graduation from the program in 2003, Mr. Daumit was selected for a position in GSA's newly formed Office of Performance Improvement, which is responsible for implementing the PMA at GSA.
