Description: The Administrator of General Services shall pay the United States Postal Service a purchase price equaling the fair market value not to exceed $975,000 for the property formerly used as the Main Postal Office Carrier Annex in Baton Rouge. GSA then will convey the land to the Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for use as a downtown park or for other public purposes. The land is situated north of Convention Street, south of Florida Street and west of 7th Street.
