Description: The Family Network Partnership (FNP), a community-based program sponsored by the University of Southern Mississippi School of Social Work, provides delinquency prevention services to high-risk youth and their families in two low-income communities in Hattiesburg, MS. The two primary components of the Partnership are the "Neighborhood University", which provides programs in the arts, academics, recreation, and vocational training for youth; and Family Support, which provides case management and individual, family, and group counseling. The applicant will report on relevant performance measures such as: level of youth participation in program components; number of law enforcement contacts for youth served by FNP programs; number of hours spent in educational activities by program youth; and amount of marketable goods and services produced by youth participating in vocational programming.
