Statement by the Press Secretary
On Wednesday, April 30, 2008, the President signed into law:
H.R. 1119, the "Purple Heart Family Equity Act of 2007," which extends associate membership in the Military Order of the Purple Heart to the spouses and siblings of Purple Heart recipients.
