Statement by the Press Secretary
On Wednesday, April 23, 2008, the President signed into law:
S. 845, the "Safety of Seniors Act of 2007," which authorizes the Department of Health and Human Services to establish public education, research, and demonstration programs for the purposes of preventing, treating, and reducing falls among the elderly.
