Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced that he has named three individuals to serve in his Administration.

The President has named Patrick S. Aylward to be Special Assistant to the President and Director, Office of the Chief of Staff. Mr. Aylward recently served as Director, Office of the Chief of Staff. Prior to this, he served as Special Assistant to the Director at the Office of Management and Budget. He received his bachelor's degree from Drew University and his master's degree from Georgetown University.

The President has named Amy L. Farrell to be Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy at the National Economic Council. Ms. Farrell recently served as Associate Director for Environment and Regulation at the Council on Environmental Quality. She received her bachelor's degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and her master's degree from Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

The President has named John S. Roberts to be Special Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs. Mr. Roberts recently served as Associate Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. He received his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.
