President Bush To Welcome Salva Kiir, First Vice President of the Government of National Unity of Sudan and President of the Government of Southern Sudan
President Bush will welcome Salva Kiir, First Vice President of the Government of National Unity of Sudan and President of the Government of Southern Sudan, to the White House on November 15, 2007. The President looks forward to working with First Vice President Kiir. The two leaders will discuss implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, the situation in Darfur, and the status of ongoing peace talks to end the violence there.
