Mrs. Bush's Statement to the Media After a Tour of the Balenciaga Exhibit

MRS. BUSH: Thank you all for coming out. I'm so excited to have this chance to see the Balenciaga show. I want to urge people across Texas to come to this show. It closes on June 16th, is that right? June 17th. And so they've extended the date so more people can come see the show. A lot of the women who either gave or loaned these dresses to the show are associated with Texas in some way. My dress that I loaned was my inaugural gown that Oscar de la Renta did, and Balenciaga was a huge inspiration to Oscar de la Renta. And so I want to urge people to come here to the Meadows Museum at SMU to see this great show. And thank you all very much also. Thanks for coming out.
