President Signs H.R. 4957 and H.R. 6197

On Tuesday, October 17, 2006, the President signed into law:

H.R. 4957, which reauthorizes and makes changes to various Department of the Interior programs designed to provide for the conservation and long-term habitat protection of fish and wildlife species; and

H.R. 6197, the "Older Americans Act Amendments of 2006," which reauthorizes and amends the Older Americans Act.
