President Bush will welcome President Leonel Fernandez of the Dominican Republic to the White House on October 25, 2006. The Dominican Republic is an important hemispheric partner of the United States. The President and President Fernandez will discuss a range of issues, including our common commitment to the expansion of free trade and economic growth, energy security, and continued cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
