Personnel Announcement
President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one person and appoint seven people to serve in his Administration.
The President intends to nominate Charles L. Glazer, of Connecticut, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of El Salvador. Mr. Glazer currently works as President and Chief Executive Officer of C.L. Glazer & Company, Incorporated. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President and Director of Jefferies & Company. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Vice President of Blyth, Eastman, Dillion & Company, Incorporated. Mr. Glazer received his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.
The President intends to appoint Dennis Prager, of California, to be a Member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, for the remainder of a five year term expiring January 15, 2011.
The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts:
Edward William Easton, of Florida, for a six year term beginning September 2, 2006James A. Haslam II, of Tennessee, for a six year term beginning September 2, 2006
Helen Lee Henderson, of Pennsylvania, for the remainder of a six year term expiring September 1, 2010
Nancy G. Kinder, of Texas, for a six year term beginning September 2, 2006
Michael Frederic Neidorff, of Missouri, for the remainder of a six year term expiring September 1, 2008
Dean A. Spanos, of California, for the remainder of a six year term expiring September 1, 2010
