President Bush to Welcome President Alan Garcia of Peru

President Bush will welcome President Alan Garcia of Peru to the White House on October 10, 2006. The visit will be an opportunity for the President to congratulate President Garcia for his electoral victory and to thank the Peruvian people for their steadfast commitment to democracy. The two leaders will discuss continuing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, such as expanding education and health benefits to all and creating jobs and prosperity.
