Personnel Announcement
President George W. Bush today announced that he has named five individuals to serve in his Administration:
The President has named Bryan Corbett to be Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy. Mr. Corbett recently served as Senior Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Treasury. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and his JD from the George Washington University Law School.
The President has named Kenneth Kiyul Lee to be Associate Counsel to the President. Mr. Lee recently worked as a Litigation Associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Prior to that, he served as a Special Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Mr. Lee received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University and his JD from Harvard Law School.
The President has named Andrea Becker Looney to be Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs. Mrs. Looney previously served as Chief of Staff to Senator Bill Frist. She received her bachelor's degree from Emory University and her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
The President has named Michael Magan to be Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Relief, Stabilization and Development of the National Security Council. Mr. Magan previously served as Deputy Assistant Administrator for the United States Agency for International Development. He received his bachelor's degree from Hope College.
The President has named Scott Walter to be Special Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy. Mr. Walter previously served as Vice President for Publications and Research at The Philanthropy Roundtable. He received his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.
