Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to appoint one individual and designate one individual to serve in his Administration:

The President intends to appoint Malik M. Hasan, of Nevada, to be a Member of the Advisory Committee on the Arts at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.

The President intends to designate Steven D. Aitken, of the District of Columbia, to be Acting Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget, to become effective on June 3, 2006.
